In our modern fashion industry, gone are the days of seasonal drops. Designers are giving us something to look forward to all year long with goodies landing in-store and online every week–from gotta have it handbags to wear forever dresses. Here, we round up our favorite new arrivals of the week.

Van Cleef and Arpels’ timepiece installation just opened in Los Angeles in tandem with the launch of their Alhambra pendant—a beautiful pendant that features a secret timepiece. Book tickets to visit the L.A. installation before it closes on May 16.

Mother Denim launched their Move It collection yesterday. The 29 piece collection includes super soft sweatshirts, sweatpants, gym shorts, cropped tees, and tanks—everything you need for lounging during days at home.

Givenchy’s newest signature bag, the 4G, designed by Matthew M. Williams, just launched on April 30. The timeless silhouette has a removable and elegant strap that can be adjusted to be worn as a clutch, shoulder bag, or crossbody bag.

Yesterday, Prada unveiled their organic denim collection. The denim ready-to-wear pieces are made using consciously sourced organic cotton that is 100% Global Organic Textile Standard certified and is dyed using Acquasave—a technology that saves 10 liters of water for each linear meter of fabric. It’s a collection that showcases the brand’s ongoing commitment to sustainability.

Shirley Cook’s line, Dyvna, is inspired by the strong matriarchs of her family. Her grandmother, the namesake to Cook’s label, raised her two children alone in Belgrade while her husband fought the Nazi regime. Her mother, Mika, was a national athlete in Yugoslavia until the age of 16, when she snuck out of the country to join her family in New York. Ahead of mother’s day, Cook photographed her mother, Mika, 83 (who just overcame a battle with cancer), in the brand’s printed dresses as a commemoration to both her mother and her grandmother.

Yesterday, swimwear brand Frankie’s Bikinis unveiled the second drop of their summer collection, featuring a range of punchy terry cloth bikinis, one-pieces, and matching cover-ups.

Monday, Mr Porter and Net-a-Porter announced a new season collaboration with Dries Van Noten, with exclusive pieces ranging from swimwear to button-downs in an assortment of bright and bold patterns. The collection is joyful and relaxed, and the pieces just feel like summer.

Last week, Valentino’s interpretation of the original 1969 Levi’s 517 boot cut jeans launched on Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter. The jeans made their debut in Valentino’s spring 2021 show, and each pair is an unaltered vintage original that has been upcycled from previously worn 517 jeans. The jeans feel one-of-a-kind, and with only 517 units, each piece bears a unique label with its edition number.

After launching their first shoe collection in 2019, Reformation returns with a new assortment of pretty flat and heeled sandals that will surely put some pep into your step this spring and summer. Think strappy, chunky heels,’ 90s-inspired platform flip flops, and dainty slides with ruched detailing.

To commemorate the 100th day of the Biden-Harris administration, luxury boutique McMullen has created an exclusive jewelry capsule in partnership with four of founder Sherri McMullen’s favorite jewelry designers, including three Black-owned brands. “2021 brings hope for women around the world, seeing Kamala Harris as our first female Vice President. A Black and Asian woman holding one of the highest positions in our country shows us that we can break through glass ceilings, hold seats in boardrooms, and create tables of our own. Vince’s creative director Caroline Belhumeur and Nu Swim founder Gina Esposito connected over their shared love of California and the belief that inclusivity should be paramount to any brand. The resulting swimsuits are a minimalist’s dream with inclusive sizing in a range of rich, earthy tones.

Altuzarra’s third installment of their leisurewear collection is crafted from upcycled fabrics from the past season. The collection’s emphasis is on versatility—each piece can be worn indoors and outdoors, styled together, or worn as separates.

Rag & Bone and Nordstrom have teamed up on an exclusive retail concept from May 3 through June 5 at the department store’s Manhattan flagship on 57th Street. The space is a reimagination of a neighborhood deli, something iconic to New York City, and the shop will offer a curated mix of women and men’s high-summer 2021 ready-to-wear and accessories, plus an array of exclusive items created for this collaboration.
