The Turner-Jonas family is growing, and Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are pretty damn excited about it. This week, multiple outlets reported that Sophie and Joe, who tied the knot in 2019 (twice, technically—first in a surprise ceremony at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas and then again in a large, lavish ceremony in Sarrians, France) are expecting their second child.
While Sophie and Joe have personally stayed quiet about the news, a source told Entertainment Tonight that they’re very, very happy to be growing their family.
“Sophie and Joe were overjoyed to learn they are expecting a second child,” the source explained. “They both have siblings and didn’t want their daughter to be an only child and have talked about having a bigger family. The couple recently celebrated Sophie’s birthday, as well as the pregnancy.”
A quick scroll back through the couple’s respective Instagram grids doesn’t reveal any overt baby hints, but a couple of weeks before Sophie’s birthday, Joe *did* post this very blue-themed photo captioned simply with a blue heart emoji. Could it be a hint that they’re expecting a boy? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Right now, Sophie and Joe are in Paris, where they are living their best lives and embracing adorable tourist-y vibes taking pics at the Eiffel Tower with friends (including Martin Barlan, with whom they’ve documented previous Paris hangs as well).
Also on the trip: Soon-to-be big sister Willa, who joined her parents for very rare public outing on Sunday when the family went for a walk in the Tuileries gardens. Willa hasn’t spent much time in the public eye, but is clearly a captivating little human being, as evidenced by the best pictures from the stroll, which feature an older gentleman behind the couple making faces at Willa (you know, the trying-desperately-to-make-a-baby-smile faces that many adult humans around the globe feel inexplicably compelled to make at kids).
