LOS ANGELES – Online furnishings resource Lulu & Georgia has launched its new Soft Deco collection that includes several sofa styles and sectionals, as well as accent chairs, a sleeper sofa and two ottomans.
The collection includes a total of 32 pieces of furniture, spanning the bedroom, dining room, home entertainment and office categories.
“We were really inspired by a 1980s post-modern look, and I think it all came together so beautifully,” said Sara Sugarman Brenner, founder of Lulu & Georgia. “The round silhouettes, luxe textures and muted colors bring sophistication with a playful note, just in time for spring.”
Brenner said the smooth lines, curves, and large-scale forms of the furniture are juxtaposed with the bold shapes, textures, and playful patterns of the fabrics, rugs, and wallpaper to create the modernistic collection.
Signature items include the Adelle accent chair, which retails for $998; the Anders accent chair, which retails for $1,498 and pairs well with the Anders sofa, which retails for $2,898; the California sectional, which retails for $3,898; the Celeste accent chair, which retails for $1,498; and the Dame dining chair which retails for $598.
