Karolina Kurkova is a supermodel, so it makes sense that she has a unique sense of style. The New York City apartment she just put up for sale is proof of this. Kurkova is asking $4.7 million for a two-bedroom residence in a luxury building on the edge of Tribeca with Hudson River views.

Formerly a three-bedroom, the home was overhauled by Kurkova during her ownership, with help from model-turned-architect Robin Elmslie Osler and design firm Interior Marketing Group. The dwelling boasts some interesting design details, including an entire wall covered in cowhide in the gallery-like entryway where Kurkova has multiple art pieces displayed. This leads into an open floor plan living and dining room with a rattan chandelier above the dining table and a rich wood accent wall in the living area.

The front entryway resembles an art gallery.

The same mahogany-tone wood is found on accent walls in the bedrooms and on the ceiling of the aforementioned entry hall. The mahogany hue really warms up the apartment, which is otherwise somewhat stark and modern. The bathrooms especially feature an abundance of white finishes, as does the galley-style kitchen, which is large enough to include barstools and gets plenty of light thanks to a frosted glass pane.

The main bedroom is a suite complete with a walk-in closet, bathroom, and balcony. Elsewhere in the home there is a guest bedroom, an office, and a dedicated dressing room. The building offers plenty of amenities including a gym, a garden, and parking. Ruthie and Ethan Assouline with The Assouline Team at Compass hold the listing.
