Dior ambassador Jisoo returned to Paris for the fashion house’s fall/winter show today, channeling Clueless’s Cher Horowitz in a yellow plaid mini dress with a collared top and black tie underneath, along with a gray blazer draped chicly over her shoulder. The Blackpink singer wore her hair down and straight and accessorized with black heels.
Jisoo went to Dior’s last show in October and visited the French fashion house’s atelier while there. She reflected on what she liked most about its spring/summer collection in a video diary, saying in Korean (translated to English in the video), “The bright colors and graphic elements made this year’s fashion show even more dynamic,” she said. “When I see the set with the models dressed in all these colors, I feel like I’m in a video game. There were so many beautiful outfits. I loved them all! If I had to pick just one, the dress with the ribbon at the chest that I saw would be my favorite.”
She spoke last January to ELLE Singapore about how wearing Dior makes her feel more confident. “Only when you truly understand yourself can you find a style that suits you,” she said. “Then add your personal touches to really own the style. To be truly unique, you have to trust in yourself and yourself alone. Like me, I feel incredibly confident and brave when I wear Dior, and I hope that by sharing these experiences will help women love themselves even more.”
“Like Dior—elegant on the outside, bold and courageous within—I may have a gentle image,” she added. “But as an artiste, I want to show the world that anything is possible.”
