NORTH LIMA, Ohio — For the first time in the company’s 68-year history, Sheely’s Furniture and Appliance is expanding its footprint with the opening of a second storefront to be located in Aurora, Ohio. The new store is part of the company’s strategic initiative for growth into the Cleveland, Ohio, market and puts the company within 35 miles of the city.
The company’s existing location, about 10 miles from the Pennsylvania border, draws from the Pittsburgh area approximately 50 miles away. The two locations enable the company to draw from the two largest metro areas in the region.
The new location is 80,000 square feet of showroom and warehouse space, with 65,0000 to 68,000 square feet devoted to the showroom. The store will offer a mix of furniture, appliances, mattresses, décor and a Warehouse Outlet, and while there will be many of the same brands Sheely’s customers recognize, there will also be some new brands as well.
The new location, like the existing store will offer a comprehensive assortment of home furnishings from furniture, mattresses and appliances to lighting, accessories and decor. That mix will be enhanced to address the local needs of the new market.
