Hailey Bieber spent part of her Friday night talking to Taylor Swift at a pre-Oscars party, and tonight, she’s out again at a post-Oscars bash. Hailey stepped out at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party wearing a nude cutout dress by Saint Laurent and Tiffany & Co. jewelry. Her husband Justin Bieber, who is currently on tour and playing Montreal tomorrow night, did not join her.
Hailey spoke to WSJ magazine last month about why she doesn’t plan on discussing Justin in interviews anymore. “It doesn’t feel worth it to me anymore when I try to have an open conversation with someone like you and then it gets taken out of context,” she said. “The media loves to take a tiny little blurb of something for clickbait. The media has always been a disgusting thing.”
She added that despite the couple’s mega fame, “behind closed doors, we’re two really normal people that just have not-normal lifestyles and careers. I think given the magnitude of Justin’s career, he’s a very normal person, and I don’t think that always happens.”
Hailey also touched on why she and Justin are holding off on starting a family for a while given their busy schedules. “There’s this thing that happens for women when you get married. Everybody always assumes it’s: First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby,” she said. “Well, what about all the things I want to accomplish in my business? I think I had it ingrained in my head that I was going to want to have kids right away and I was going to want to have kids super, super young. Then I turned 25 and I’m like, I’m still super, super young!”
