K-pop superstars Jin, Jimin, V, RM, Jungkook, Suga, and J-Hope of BTS dressed sharply for the 2021 Grammys, posing behind their own Grammys backdrop from South Korea. (The coronavirus pandemic is very much still a thing, of course, keeping them from traveling to Los Angeles.)

The boys wore Louis Vuitton for their red carpet look, each in different menswear suits. From left to right, V, Suga, Jin, Jungkook, RM (in a sweatshirt!!), Jimin, and J-Hope appear, all impeccably dressed. All other boy bands, take note.

This is a big night for BTS: Not only are they up for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Dynamite,” but they’re also performing at the ceremony. Prepare yourself for incredible dancing and true artistry, which they bring to every performance they do.

Unfortunately, BTS’ award was announced before the ceremony even started. They lost their category to Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande, a huge upset.

Still, BTS’ song “Dynamite” was groundbreaking, topping the Billboard Hot 100 for weeks. BTS is the first K-pop group to be nominated in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category, so they’ve already made history. As RM told E! during the group’s red carpet interview with the outlet, “This is very memorable for us of course because we’ve always wanted to perform there [at the Grammys]…it’s just an honor to be part of this amazing night.”

BTS released “Dynamite” to help spread joy last year, as much of the world has been in quarantine because of the ongoing pandemic.

RM told USA Today ahead of the song’s release that recording “Dynamite” was “like destiny.”

“Who would ever think of this pandemic?” he said. “No meeting, no karaoke, no concerts? Even no walking in the park. So we never expected this song would come fully in English. During the process of making our album…it just came to us.”

The group added during an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music that “Dynamite” is “made of positive vibes, energy, hope, love, the purity, everything… We’re going through difficult times so we tried to have more fun working on this song. We made this song in hopes of giving energy to the listeners. We’re glad this song turned out great and hope a lot of our fans can listen to it to receive the positive energy we tried to incorporate in the song.”
