Amiri recently announced the opening of its South Coast Plaza store, marking the Los Angeles-based brand’s second location in California, alongside its Rodeo Drive flagship.
Designed by creative director Mike Amiri in collaboration with American architectural design firm Two One Two Design, the new 3,000-square-foot store is described as “an evolution” of its first Rodeo Drive location. The store “unites different creative disciplines within a single environment,” according to a press release.
The South Coast Plaza store houses men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, kidswear, footwear, and accessories. It will also exclusively stock limited-edition glitter colorways of the iconic Skel Top Low and Micro Bag MA. Like other Amiri stores, the new boutique serves as an ‘open gallery’ to showcase art and artisans, blending fashion and culture.
Launched by Mike Amiri in 2014, Amiri now has several US locations, as well as stores in Tokyo, Shanghai, and Dubai.
