The singer posted an Instagram selfie of her new hairstyle.
Britney Spears just settled the age-old question of whether or not to get bangs (the answer is yes). Last month, Spears took to Instagram to tell the story of her relationship with fringe as a child–and how she missed the hairstyle dearly. The singer delivered on her promise and just debuted the perfect set of wispy curtain bangs.
“I did it I finally cut bangs !!!!!!” Spears captioned the selfie. Fans flooded her comments with love for her new look. She styled her new haircut with a pink bikini and a black choker necklace. Spears then posted a second selfie showing off her new hairstyle, this time with the same necklace and a white polka dot crop top.
Back in May, the singer noted that bangs are her best anti-aging hair hack. “Who would have thought bangs could make you look waaaaay younger ?!?!” she wrote. “I stopped having bangs in the 3rd grade and I remember like it was yesterday …. it was such a big deal to expose my forehead …. only pretty people in the south could do that and I never felt pretty enough to pull it off.”
