For the first time, Vogue’s Forces of Fashion conference will be a global affair. The sixth annual Forces of Fashion will take place in four countries: the United States, the United Kingdom, India, and Mexico.
Kicking off the festivities in New York are Kim Kardashian and Vogue.com editor Chioma Nnadi. Nnadi will interview Kardashian from inside the magazine’s famed fashion closet in front of an invitation-only audience. Then, across the pond, Naomi Campbell and British Vogue editor Edward Enninful will chat in front of a live crowd. Don’t fret: Both conversations will be recorded.
Megha Kapoor, head of editorial content at Vogue India, will sit down with actor and body-positivity advocate Sonam Kapoor to talk about how Bollywood is shaping beauty standards. Continuing that theme, Megha Kapoor will also speak with model Lakshmi Menon about fashion’s relationship with South Asian beauty. Finally, in Mexico City, editor in chief of Vogue Mexico Karla Martinez will discuss body image in the music industry with cover star Karol G.
