Battersea revealed Lola was in the top ten pet names of 2020.
Victoria Derbyshire introduced her new cocker spaniel puppy Lola to the world on Wednesday (13 January) and we’re in love.
Sharing several adorable pictures and videos of the new arrival in a swipe along gallery on Instagram, Lola is Vic’s second cocker spaniel and is unbelievably cute.
The journalist told followers: “Meet Lola – the latest addition to our fam and a ‘sister’ for Gracie. Lola’s a cocker spaniel too 🐶❤️Love ‘em!”
Once we finally tore our eyes away from Lola’s cuteness, we saw several of the I’m a Celebrity star’s fans and followers were sharing that their dogs are called Lola too.
One wrote: “Oh my goodness!!!😍😍😍 Cuteness overload! I’ve got dog called Lola too, we adopted her when she was 12 weeks old…she’s a rescue dog. She was found with 2 sisters in a bin bag! She’s now 9 years old! And has been my absolute life line during covid!💛”
While another said: “Dogs bring so much joy. My little Lola is a Bichon:shitzu cross. She is 7 now and my old Chocolate Lab, Henry, who is 12 loves her. She sits on his back to stay warm. Love dogs.”
Turns out the popular dog name was actually revealed to be the 2nd most popular name for dogs and cats last year, according to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. The centre recently released the Top Ten pet names for 2020, is your furry friend on there?
