The best price on Sony’s popular WH-1000XM4 noise-canceling headphones has returned, with top online retailers knocking $72 off the over-ear headset that pairs well with Macs for work-from-home calls.

Both B&H and Amazon are currently offering the Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones for $278. Typically retailing for $350, the headphones have some of the best active noise cancellation available, and they have high-quality audio and extra features to boot.

While the headphones don’t match the luxurious design of AirPods Max, Sony tweaked the design to make this 2020 update feel more premium than its predecessors. The cans support Sony’s 360-degree audio for compatible tracks, and the headphones can change the noise-canceling mode depending on your location. The companion app includes a customizable equalizer and various audio effects.

The headphones include a full-sized case and an audio cable in the box. They charge via USB-C.
