We’re all suffering from the same fate when it comes to our hair. From hair fall to random flakes to dry ends to split ends, it takes a lot of effort to maintain your hair health. We’ve all been at home for over a year and that has also played a vital role in our hair health, unfortunately for the worse. Whether it’s spending all those ours in front of the laptop or not oiling your hair enough, we’ve become extremely lazy with our tresses.

And one aspect that has affected the most is hair volume. With the constant change in climate, our hair is falling like water. There can be numerous reasons for hair fall, but it’s important to begin taking care of it right from the word go. From nutrition to what you put on your hair, it’s essential to monitor everything in an effort to stop hair thinning.

Amid that. I tried a few different hacks that worked like magic to reduce hair thinning and played a vital role in volumanising my otherwise awful tresses. Check them out here:

  1. Oil your hair before every wash. Even if it’s for 15 minutes, warm some oil and massage your scalp without fail. It doesn’t have to be coconut oil, it can be amla and even almond.
  2. Use a homemade hair mask once a week. Powder overnight soaked methi and mix it well with sundried curry leaves powder. Mix some water to get a fine paste and apply it all over your scalp and tresses.
  3. Add dry fruits to your diet. Begin your day with soaked almonds and have a handful of walnuts along with your evening cup of tea.
  4. Never ever brush your hair after a wash. Let it get damp and then use a neem wood comb to reduce the tangles.
  5. When it comes to hairbrushes, it’s important to stick to the basics. I suggest a neem wood comb and that’s the only thing you need to cure all your woes.
  6. Use claw clips instead of rubber bands. It reduces breakage and split ends.
  7. Use a scarf to cover your hair the minute you leave your house. From sun rays to pollution, everything is the enemy of your home and the best is to cover them.
