The Crown’s production team can add one more accolade to the show’s already sterling reputation (10 Emmys, ahem). People reports that Elizabeth Emanuel, who the designer behind Princess Diana’s wedding dress (she created it alongside her then-husband David Emanuel), approves of the series’s version of the gown. Netflix released an image of actor Emma Corrin wearing the dress over the weekend and Emanuel noted that Corrin looked “wonderful” in the dress.

The sneak peek showcased the dress’s 25-foot train and puff sleeves. And while some reports state that Elizabeth loaned the original dress’s patterns to the show’s costume department, she insists that never happened. David did speak with the team during the show’s fourth season, however, so the costume department did get some insider information straight from the source.

“Emma Corrin looks wonderful in it. I’m a big fan of The Crown, it’s an amazing series and I’m looking forward to seeing it when it comes out,” Elizabeth added.
