Specifically, that embrace is taking the form of a rare look at her natural hair texture, which appears to be a type 3a or 3b (aka definitively curly) based on the pictures and videos she shared on Instagram. You know it’s a rare look because if you’re trying to picture Khloé in your head right now, you’re almost def picturing her face framed by a perfectly straight and shiny blowout.
“💜 I rarely wear my natural hair texture. Felt kinda cute with it (please don’t ruin the feeling) 💜,” she explained in the caption of the post which included several sexy AF gym selfies and two videos, if you want to see her natural curls in motion (which, be honest, you know you do).

In a post on her Instagram Story, Khloé gave some more detail about her hair—both the natural look she showed off on her grid and the sleek and chic version we all associate with her. She also revealed that she rediscovered her love for her curls during the pandemic.
“I’ve been getting straightening treatments on my hair for years,” she captioned a side by side photo of her now and her as a kid. “I’ve been getting Brazilian blowouts and other treatments since I’ve been a teenager. I stopped because of Covid. I actually kind a like my curls.”
