Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband, Justin Mikita, are going all in on their next chapter of life, starting with a change to their living situation. The proud new dads to son Beckett Mercer Ferguson-Mikita recently listed their charming Los Feliz home for $6.995 million, likely a decision spurred by a desire for a more family-friendly residence.
The 1928 Spanish Colonial in the celeb-friendly neighborhood previously belonged to Robert Pattinson, and before him, Gwen Stefani and her ex, Gavin Rossdale. According to Dirt, it was Stefani and Rossdale who spent a small fortune adding a pool to the property, among other upgrades. Ferguson previously told Architectural Digest that he found the waterfall-fed pool “ostentatious and very perfect for this house.” The Modern Family star and Mikita have similarly added their own personal touches to the 4,926-square-foot home, working with Will & Grace set decorator turned interior designer Peter Gurski to make it all their own.
“I love that beautiful yellow; I love it so much,” Ferguson previously told AD of the couch in the library.

Inside the home, a double-height rotunda immediately offers a number of colorful details, including terra-cotta tile floors, a curved staircase with a wrought-iron railing, and a stenciled ceiling with a cheeky lighting fixture: a chandelier enclosed in a birdcage. Other common living areas, such as the living room, boast large arched windows, exposed wood ceilings, and French doors. Several of the rooms also feature pops of color, like the deep green library or the formal dining room, which boasts denim-colored walls. Fun fact: The couple has hosted many a dinner party in the home, including one wherein they invited the whole Modern Family cast.
