Stellar Works and Timothy Oulton Debut New Showrooms in New York

On October 1, Stellar Works opens the doors to its first permanent location in the U.S., which is housed on two levels of a historic Tribeca building—the former location of Pearl Paint—with over 4,000 square feet of space. The ground floor features a showroom, with offices on the lower level. Integrated throughout the rooms are wall coverings by Brooklyn-based studio Calico Wallpaper, an official partner of the new space. “Stellar Works has always had strong ties to New York through our design projects and collaborations, so it is especially thrilling to be opening our first global flagship here,” Yuichiro Hori, founder and CEO of Stellar Works, tells AD PRO. “We look forward to being a dynamic new design destination in this vibrant neighborhood.”

Meanwhile, north of Union Square at 901 Broadway, British furnisher Timothy Oulton has opened the doors to an eye-popping new retail gallery. While the leather goods inside are plenty of a draw by themselves, visitors will be delighted to discover unexpected flourishes inside—including a lunar module operating as a champagne bar. Should you find yourself lusting after some of the showroom’s outrageous decor, rejoice: Everything inside is for sale. Need a lunar module for your next project? It’s yours for $130,000.
