The Flower Home paint even has fun packaging.

From significant business changes to noteworthy product launches, there’s always something new happening in the world of design. In this bi-weekly roundup, AD PRO has everything you need to know.

Drew Barrymore Designs a Line of Paints

It’s not Drew Barrymore’s first foray into design, or even wall-related decor. Her booming Walmart home-line, known as Flower, features furnishings, accessories, and a selection of wall art. And now, as of August 5, Barrymore is expanding her offerings thanks to a new selection of paints. Aptly titled “Flowers,” the 27-color selection is vibrant, playful, and whimsical.

Veronica Beard Debuts Tabletop

American ready-to-wear clothing brand Veronica Beard is bringing its cool and classic aesthetic to the table with a spirited joie-de-vivre line. The collection, Boho Vines, includes an array of placemats, napkins, tablecloths, and beach blankets. “Your home is such a reflection of who you are, and in spending more time there, it made me focus on all the little details,” Veronica Miele Beard tells AD PRO. “I always design things we want for ourselves, and it was the same with our Boho Vines collection…[it’s] the perfect starting place for all your summer entertaining!” Just in time for the last wind of the season, the limited-edition pieces are available exclusively on veronicabeard.com.

The Invisible Collection Pops Up in the Hamptons

Contrary to its name, the vision behind The Invisible Collection has always made one thing readily apparent: Pairing top-caliber design talents with equally exceptional craftspeople is a recipe for success. Although showrooms in London and Paris were quick to open after the company’s 2016 inception, American fans have been left oohing and ahhing over designs seen through computer screens—until now. From August 7 through September 6, The Invisible Collection is hosting its first Stateside brick-and-mortar pop-up at Phillips Southampton. Stop by to view pieces created in conjunction with AD100 talents such as Kelly Behun, Pierre Yovanovitch, Charles Zana, and more.

New York Design House Studio SFW Ventures Upstate While Galerie Heads Out East

Studio SFW has announced the opening of their first showroom in Rhinebeck, New York. In the midst of a period during which many sought respite upstate, the Hudson-adjacent neighborhood seemed like the ideal fit for the NYC studio. SFW offers interior design and architectural services, but the star of the show at their new outpost is the charming collection of curated wonders. From antiques and collectibles to artworks and curiosities, the house brims with a vibrant selection of vintage treasures. Larger scale pieces on display feature thoughtful updates as well. One example: a selection of custom club chairs covered in Pierre Frey fabric.

Also outside the Big Apple, The Galerie House of Art and Design is set to debut in Sag Harbor, New York, on August 7. Hosted at the studio of interior design maestro Mark Cunningham, the magazine’s show house features an impressive roster of vendors, including Carpenters Workshop Gallery, Galerie Perrotin, Dedar, Ralph Pucci, and others.
